The Colorcast, treizième épisode.
The Colorcast, thirteenth episode. Thirteen is often synonymous with something unexpected. For this thirteenth episode of The Colorcast, our friends from Murals invited a new creator: Family Dog. Family Dog is another band from Kentuchy who has just released his second EP, All Right. This episode of The Colorcast is one of the most American ones, and I mean to qualify it as such as a compliment. We find some very rare musical pieces, like the Cas Wallin sound extract. Johnny Thunder (with no “s”) performs “I’m Alive“, a Bob Dylan favorite. We also visit Alan Lomax‘s archives and the spirit of The N.E.C. which was a very influential band to the whole Lexington scene. In short, The Colorcast continues to be the temporal and sound space that immerses us right in middle of an America that no European can discover by itself.
